Independent Black Dirt Company was started as a family business in 1921.  Originally located in south Minneapolis with moves to Bloomington in 1958 and finally Farmington in 1975, the soil has always been our primary product.  Our dirt is of the highest grade and can be picked up or inspected at our sales yard in Farmington.
